At Moomzart, we prefer natural 100% Merino wool, as we seek to create long-lasting projects that can be passed down from generation to generation. In addition, its high resistance makes it ideal for everyday use. However, for decorative or canvas projects, you can experiment with other fibers, which gives a visually appealing result.

Although Monk cloth is the most commercial fabric, it is not the preferred fabric by enthusiasts and professionals of punch needle. This fabric can be difficult to work with, as it frays easily and does not allow sewing by hand or machine. We only recommend it for people with physical limitations (such as osteoarthritis) and for children, because its open weave makes it easy to work with without the need to apply pressure. For this reason, we offer Monk cloth packs in our online store. If you want to make punch needle your new hobby, we recommend Abbesse linen, included in our Moomzart® kits.

Yes, we can make modifications to the kits if you have a physical limitation that makes it difficult to apply force with your fingers or hands. In this case, we can exceptionally replace the 35x35 Abbess cloth pieces with Monk cloth. To request this adaptation, please contact us directly.
