How to place the thermoadhesive strips to join punchies

Just because you like punching doesn't mean you like sewing ;) At the Lodge we use these double-sided thermo-adhesive strips that are pure magic to adhere your punchy to a fabric. Furthermore, its adhesion is superior to anything sewn.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cut the iron-on paper according to the dimensions you need. For a 20cm punchy, cut 5x1cm strips.
  2. Preheat the iron to medium temperature, without steam.
  3. Place the adhesive (rough surface) on the fabric you want to join (the paper lining facing up).
  4. Place and hold the iron on the paper liner for 2 seconds. Repeat until you have joined the entire surface. Let it cool.
  5. Peel off the paper lining and place the second fabric on top of your project. Press and hold the iron for 8 seconds on each strip until the entire piece has been joined. (The times indicated here are for cotton. Iron only 6 seconds in case of light fabrics and thick fabrics during 2 seconds additional).
  6. Let cool for 30 minutes without touching your project so that the adhesive takes full effect.
