What you should know about punch needle frames
Designed by and for punch needle lovers
We have developed our own frames because we have tried those that exist on the market: the gripper frame, plastic frames, conventional wooden frames…. But none of them were 100% comfortable or resistant. So we tested and developed a frame for ourselves with the functions we needed. We are 3 craftsmen involved in its manufacture.

There is nothing more pleasant than “working” in contact with wood. The touch is warm and the material is noble, just like your punch needle creations with natural wool. The durability of the wood surpasses any plastic frame on the market, and withstands intensive use. Punching with noble materials means increasing the benefits of your new hobby.
Which punch needle cloth should I use for a large frame?
All our frames come with the correct cloth for punch needle. So you don’t have to spend time searching for the right cloth and you can let your creativity run wild as soon as it arrives at your home. What we think of the punch needle frame: Oxford Gripper Strip Lap Frame
As you can see, you won’t find it here, and we’re going to explain why. We may have it for sale as we are an official supplier of Amy Oxford. However, we do not recommend this frame for punch needle. For the following reasons: we don’t like to punch with fear of getting hurt. To work safely with the gripper, you need to cover the areas of the metal pins with a very thick fabric (extra expense to be considered). It is important not to touch the perimeter barbed area. Moreover, it is necessary to punch on a table, flat, which implies a very static and sedentary posture. In the case of the gripper, the wooden base must be very high so that the needle does not damage the table. This is why punch needle gripper frames are heavy and take up a lot of space.
We see our hobby as a pleasurable activity with no restrictions and no fear of getting hurt. We don’t like to punch sitting at a table (we already spend many hours a day sitting down), we enjoy punching in any corner of the house: lying down, lying on the sofa, on the underground, on the bus, on holidays, etc. Punch needle, as a good hobby, is a way of life. We punch when and where we feel like it.
